My husband, Jason, and I recently celebrated the arrival of our little son, Ezra Daniel.  This past Sunday we celebrated that he was born again through water and the Word in baptism.  We had Ezra baptized at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of the LCCA in Lusaka, Zambia by Pastor E. Bangwe.  It was a beautiful service and reminded us of the great blessing that God gives us in baptism, that through his Son, he welcomes us into his family of believers.  Dan and Karen Kroll, missionaries in Ndola, Zambia are Ezra’s godparents.  It is a great blessing to have this mission family and Dan and Karen will be uncle and auntie to Ezra, involved in his life and faith from this day on.  Being in Zambia also reminds us of how large and diverse God’s family is and how blessed we are to have Ezra welcomed into that family through baptism.  Thank the Lord for his blessings!
