Being afflicted with a life-threatening disease is a burden.  It can be borne with the help of loving parents, a loyal brother, and a strong Christian faith if you are a young teenager.  After a two-year battle with lymphoma, Oscar Fung is back in school and half way through Confirmation Class.

ALS or Asia Lutheran Seminary, is our WELS Seminary based in Hong Kong. Dr Lawrenz and wife, Phoebe, came to Taiwan in late August for teaching an Old Testament Theology course and to fellowship with the Stellicks in Central Taiwan.
