After the initial clean up by the congregation and lengthy discussions about how to refurbish, it was decided that the congregation would do the majority of the work themselves. Committee on Relief received a call from Pastor Eckhart requesting help with the refurbishing of the kitchen, fellowship hall, and bathrooms. Pastor Philip Schupmann contacted Pastor Richard Warnecke at Christ, Pewaukee, Wis., who coordinated a group of 15 members to travel over to Minnesota City to help finish the work. View the photo slideshow of the volunteer group and some of the work they did.
