What is Travel Canvass Witness?

Travel Canvass Witness (TCW) consists of college students, and sometimes family members, from campus ministry programs and synodical schools. It’s active during school breaks and vacations, lasting between one to 10 weeks, but some TCWs serve year-round.TCW was established in 1997 and grew into what FIA is today. In 2004, Joyce Beglinger became the facilitator.

“I am proud and privileged to be a part of this division of WKW.” Beglinger said.“FIA, with all of these areas has shown me the eagerness of lay people wanting to help spread the gospel, just as we are instructed to do. Their willingness to give of their time and talents is amazing. They set out to help a congregation and end up leaving with their own faith having been strengthened. Hearing the stories from both the host pastors and the volunteers has confirmed that God’s Word is powerful and complete.”
